Man proposes and God disposes. This is the story of an APC House of Reps candidate, Pharmacist Ejikeme Omeje, who died Tuesday, in a fatal road crash on Eden- Ani/Nsukka Road, near El-Rina Hotel, Nsukka downtown of Enugu State.
Omeje was to vie for Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency, but couldn’t based on the sudden tragedy.
The lone accident occurred when Omeje was returning from a political event at Eden-Ani, and suddenly lost control of his car and swerved into the bush, hitting a tree in the process.
“He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. In fact, he may have died instantly as a result of serious injuries sustained in the accident,” a party member volunteered.
Expressing shock at the incident, the State Secretary of APC in Enugu State, Chief Robert Ngwu, said the constituency has lost a vibrant but potential voice in the House of Reps of the National Assembly, wishing him to rest in peace./SHARE THIS
