Emperor Pick Peters, one of Nigeria’s great Juju musicians, has succumbed to the cold hands of death at age 74.
His name should ring a bell to all lovers of Juju Music. His controversial song E Juba F’omo Ode which he released under TYC label in 1976 as a response to King Sunny Ade’s song, E kilo F’omo Ode, made him popular in the 70’s.

The song was released during the epic battle between KSA and Abioro.
Pick Peters, a native of Ipokia, Ogun State, will be missed by fans and loved ones all over.
Some of his timeless songs are KangoKango L’agogo ndun released in 1974, Igbeyin L’alayo n ta, Irawo, Eni Seka, Peter L’aja kan, Ayewa, Eda Aiye Nreti, etc.
