Eko Electricity Distribution Company EKEDC has congratulated Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration, which is the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In a statement signed by it’s Corporate Communications GM, Godwin Idemudia the company described Easter as an expression of God’s immense love to mankind and humanity.
He noted that while the entire world may be challenged by the poignant realities of COVID-19, Easter offers a blessed assurance that the redemptive power of God can transform dark yesterdays into bright tomorrows.

Idemudia also used the opportunity to reassure customers of the company’s commitment to sustain its excellent service particularly during the period of lockdown. He reiterated the company’s support for the proposed two months free electricity by the National Assembly, saying “it is a good idea but cannot be implemented now until details from the government is agreed upon”.
He, however, implored customers to continue to maximize the numerous digital channels that have been provided by the company for enquiries and resolution of complaints.
He concluded by reassuring customers that the company will continue to do everything possible to meet their demands and provide the needed support for them particularly at this time that many are working remotely from home as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown.
