Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu will commission the Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board (JAMB) new General Services Department (GSD) Building on Monday, February 17, 2020.
A statement by the Board contained in the latest edition of JAMBulletin made available to The State Online by Dr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB Head of Media stated that “The GSD building foundation laying ceremony was performed on the 18 May, 2019, shortly after the commissioning of the remodelled National Headquarters Building. The project which has been completed would house some divisions and units in the department namely, Civil Engineering Division, Electrical Division, Mechanical /Transportation Division and Physical Planning Division.
“The storeyed building constructed with modern architectural design also has well-furnished drivers’ lounge, vehicle servicing pitch and workshops for repairs of air-conditioners and refrigerators.
“Expected at the commissioning are the crème de la crème in the education sector, former governors and other distinguished personalities in the society.”
