What must have frustrated a female officer of the Department of State Services (DSS) to commit suicide by plunging into the Lagos lagoon and drowning in a highly miserable way? Is it a curse? Is it her destiny to perish in a most heart wrenching manner?
These and many more are the riddles before security operatives as they spread their dragnets to unravel the circumstances surrounding the Thursday, November 10 suicide of Adetutu Adedokun in Lagos lagoon.
According to the Uber driver conveying her, Adedokun had a heated phone argument with her fiancé who had just engaged with her and in the heat of the argument, she ordered him to stop and disembarked from the cab.
As soon as she alighted from the Uber taxi, she headed straight towards the railings of the bridge and plunged into the lagoon.
Close sources said about four months ago, she was said to have received commendations from the DG, DSS, as the best unarmed combat operative in her set./SHARE THIS
