The Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Water Resources, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack has inaugurated the Ministerial Transition Team, Thursday, 3rd of March, 2023 in Abuja.
Speaking at the event, the Permanent Secretary said ,”You are aware , that President Muhammad Buhari signed in the Presidential Executive Order No.14 of 2023 on the Facilitation and Management of Presidential Transition in order to institutionalize the transition process from an outgoing President to a newly elected President.
“In line with the above, the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination, directed Ministries to establish a Ministerial Transition Team that shall be an ad-hoc Team to be set up by the Permanent Secretary of each Ministry.
“The team being inaugurated has the Director, Water Supply, Dr. N.D Madu as the Transition Team Director and members drawn from different Departments of the Ministry.”
While congratulating the newly inaugurated team members, the Permanent Secretary reminded them that they were selected based on the confidence reposed on them by the management, saying “to whom much is given, much is expected.”
In his vote of thanks, the Transition Team Director, Dr. N.D Madu, on behalf of the team, pledged their readiness to deliver on their mandate, says Mrs. Kenechukwu Offie, Director, PPR./SHARE THIS
