
Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger State has described death as inevitable. He stated this at the third-day Special prayer session for the repose of the soul of Malama Fatima Mohammed, the wife of his aide-de-camp (ADC) ,Liman Tanko.
The prayer session held was at the ADC’s residence at the Crystal FM area, Maitumbi, Minna.
Gov Sani-Bello commiserated with the entire family,urging them to bear with the loss.
The governor said it was a sad event bearing in mind that she left behind four children and prayed Almighty Allah to strengthen the family and guide the children as they were going to miss her.
“What is needed to be done for the family is to pray for the repose of her soul and that Allah gives them the strength to overcome the loss.”
The ADC who described his late wife as a calm and pious woman whom he will greatly miss,
said in all situations he gives thanks to God, as he will continue to pray for the repose of her soul.
The ADC appreciated the governor and other top for making it to the third day government functionaries relatives and sympathizers for finding time to attend the prayer Session.
Late Fatima died at the age of 44 leaving behind four children, her husband and other relations; she has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
Among top government functionaries that attended the third-day prayer included the secretary to the State government (SSG), Alh Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, commissioners and Chairmen.
The third-day Fiddau Prayer was led by Imam of Farin Doki, Erena, Shiroro local government Imam Bilyanu Mohammed Gambo.
