The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 242 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria as at yesterday.
The breakdown of the new cases is as follows:
Lagos 133
Oyo 34
Edo 28
Ogun 23
FCT 22
Plateau 6
Kaduna 5
Borno 3
Niger 3
Kwara 2
Bauchi 2
Anambra 2
Enugu 2
This means there are now 7526 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. While 2174 have been discharged, 221 people have died due to the viral disease.
