COVID-19: Kano leads with 92 as Nigeria records 238 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday night, 1st May, 2020 announced on its site that 238 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the country.

Kano State which has become a major source of concern in the country over multiple deaths was on top of the chart with 92 cases with the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) coming a distant second with 36.

Lagos, hitherto the epicenter of COVID-19 cases recorded 30 and it was followed by Gombe which had 16.
