COVID-19: Kano leads with 92 as Nigeria records 238 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday night, 1^st May, 2020 announced on its site that 238 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the country.

Kano State which has become a major source of concern in the country over multiple deaths was on top of the chart with 92 cases with the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) coming a distant second with 36.

Lagos, hitherto the epicenter of COVID-19 cases recorded 30 and it was followed by Gombe which had 16.
