Jigawa state Government had announced lockdown in Kazaure local Council as it records a confirmed case of Covid 19 in the area.
This brings the total number of cases being managed in the state to two after Kano state Government hands over a Jigawa indigene to his home state.
This was confirmed by the Jigawa state Governor Badaru Abubakar in a press briefing he held in Dutse ,the state Capital of Jigawa.
According to Governor Badaru the victim was admitted at the state isolation centre Dutse where he is been taken care-off by combine team of health professionals.
He further stated that the one week Kazaure lockdown, will be effective from Monday midnight.
Also stressed that all essential service providers are exempted and grains will be distributed to the affected local government.
