The First online meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC ) will be held on Wednesday, 13th May, 2020 with President Muhammadu Buhari presiding.

The FEC Meeting is going online as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic which requires some measures, including social distancing, to defeat.
Minister of Communication and Digital Economic, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami and his team are already working round the clock to ensure a seamless online meeting.

The Ministry in a post on its social media handle on Sunday stated that “In preparation for the upcoming Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting to be held virtually on Wednesday, which will be chaired by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, the Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami today supervised a test run.
“Agencies under the supervision of the Ministry, Galaxy Backbone, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Nigerian Communications Satellite Systems will be providing a digital platform and technical support for the meeting.”
