President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday evening arrived Abuja from his private visit to London, two days ahead of schedule.
The Presidential Jet touched down around 9:45pm after take off from Stansted Airport, London, at about 3:27 p.m. Nigerian time.
Speaking to reporters at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport Abuja, the president said he intends to work harder and be accountable to Nigerians.
President Buhari had been on a 15–day “private visit” in the United Kingdom since November 2, and was due to return on Sunday, November 17.
He originally left Nigeria on Monday, October 28, for the Economic Forum of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and from there proceeded to the UK.
