President Muhammadu Buhari has broken his silence on the dethronement of Muhammadu Sanusi II as Emir of Kano state saying he has no hand in it.
The president made this known in a series of tweets by his media aide, Garba Shehu on Wednesday.

The Kano State government had on Monday dethroned and banished Sanusi at the State Executive Council meeting over his alleged consistent refusal to abide by instructions given to him.
The government then announced the Emir of Bichi Aminu Ado Bayero, as the new Emir of Kano.
Aminu is the son of the 13th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, who died in 2014.
