Buhari in Dutse promises to redouble efforts on security, agric, infrastructure if re-elected



President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration in the country has recorded tremendous achievements, pledging to redouble efforts in areas of security, agriculture and infrastructure to better the lives of Nigerians if reelected.


Speaking while on courtesy visit on Jigawa State Governor, Badaru Abubakar at Government House Dutse, he said “Our APC led administration has executed numerous projects at all levels, adding we have achieved a lot in tackling security challenges confronting our nation,job creation through N- power, among other federal government interventions, and agricultural revolution”.

President Buhari noted that before the advent of the present administration, 18 LGA’s in Borno state were under the control of Book Haram, saying now his administration has overcome the problem, pointing out that in areas of agriculture, fertilizers was made available to farmers at affordable price and nine per cent rice importation has been stopped.

He blamed the media for under reporting his agricultural giant strides which provide job opportunities and wealth creation to teeming Nigerians. He urged the media to always focus more attention on his agricultural revolution which he said has pave way for millions of Nigerians to go back to the farm thereby enhancing food security.

Speaking earlier, Governor Badaru assured President Buhari of Jigawa votes, stressing that “we will never forget your agricultural giant stride as it has uplifted the living standard and revival of the nation’s economy.”
