The Owa-Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II, has joined his ancestors.
The first class traditional and paramount ruler of Ijesaland was aged 86.
His passage was announced in a statement, signed by Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Chief Yinka Fasuyi, today in Osogbo, the state capital.
Fasuyi, in a tribute, wrote: “An Era Comes To An Abrupt End!

The late paramount ruler of Ijesaland ascended the throne on February 20, 1982, and spent 42 years on the throne until his demise.
