Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Katsina United, Abdullahi Biffo has reportedly been abducted by unknown gunmen along Katsina – Zaria express way.
A source close to the club confirmed Biffo’s abduction on Monday said N15 Million ransom has been placed on the coach.
“Coach Biffo was kidnapped about 5 days ago by unknown gunmen in Kaduna. The kidnappers are asking for N15 Million ransom ” the source disclosed.
Coach Biffo helped Niger Tornadoes gain promotion back to the Nigeria Professional Football in 2015 and became the overall winner of NNL Super 4 play off.
He was contracted by Abia Warriors following the exit of Okey Emordi in 2015/2016 league season and later left the club to pitch his tent with Katsina United.
Katsina United are in group A of the abridged Nigeria Professional Football League 2018-19 season.
