The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Thursday affirmed Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola as the elected governor of Osun State.
Four Justices were in his favour in the majority ruling, leaving one Justice dissenting.

The suit challenging the election of Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was filed by Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in the last Osun State governorship election.
