The Federal Government has re-arrested Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Abubakar Malami, attorney general of the Federation and Minister of Justice, disclosed this today in Abuja.
He said the wanted IPOB leader was arrested on Sunday June 27, 2021 with the assistance of Interpol and other security agencies.
Kanu jumped bail after a Federal High Court in Abuja granted him bail in 2017.
He was taken before the Federal High Court where he jumped bail. He was subsequently remanded in DSS custody.
