Four unidentified gunmen believed to be kidnappers on Wednesday night abducted the Magajin Garin Daura, Musa Umar, in his Daura residence.
The traditional ruler is the father of Fatima Musa, wife of Colonel Mohammed Abubakar, the Aide de Camp, ADC, to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The kidnappers stormed Umar’s Daura residence at 7pm on Wednesday and sporadically shot into the air, scaring the hell out of bystanders, who scampered for safety. They then took the traditional ruler away in a Peugeot 406 saloon car, according to sources.
Umar had just returned from the mosque where he took part in the evening prayer when the incident happened.
He was sitting in front of his house with some people when the gunmen came.
