







President Muhammadu Buhari has asked all members of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, contesting elective positions to resign on or before Monday, May 16, 2023.
The Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed announced this Wednesday while briefing State House reporters on the outcome of the FEC meeting presided over by President Buhari at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Among the ministers eyeing elective seats and have paid N100million fee demanded by the All Progressives Congress, APC, are Rotimi Amaechi (Transportation), Chris Ngige (Labour), Abubakar Malami (Justice), Timipre Sylva (Petroleum) and Godswill Akpabio (Niger Delta Affairs).
President Buhari, according to sources, praised Emeka Nwajiuba, minister of state, education, for turning in his resignation letter well ahead of the order.
