The Kano State Government has announced Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero as the new Emir of Kano  few hours after the dethronement of Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi   ( Muhammadu Sanusi II)

Abba Anwar, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Umar Ganduje in a press statement announced the emergence of Ado Bayero as the new Emir.

In the press statement titled Kano Emirate: Aminu Ado Bayero Emerges New Emir, he wrote that  “Aminu Ado Bayero, the Emir of Bichi and the son of the late Emir Ado Bayero , emerges as the new Emir of Kano after the dethronement of Muhammadu Sanusi II. This was officiailly announced in the presence of Kano Emirate kingmakers and other stakeholders at Ante Chamber, Government House, Kano.”
