Barrister Olumide Braithwaite, the only surviving son of the late elder statesman, Tunji Braithwaite, who was the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign during the last general elections has survived a ghastly auto accident that occurred in Abuja yesterday.
The accident took place around 9am along expressway by the Central Bank of Nigeria headquarters in Abuja. His Toyota Hilux pickup van had a collision with an armoured bullion van.

Emergency services providers responded swiftly and he was rushed to the Garki Hospital for medical attention where he regained consciousness.
Sources close to the Braithwaite family said he is in stable condition and receiving the best medical care in his Abuja home.
