BORNO GOVT DISTRIBUTES HANDSETS TO OPERATORS AS THEY MOVE TO NEW SITES

Borno State Government has flagged off the distribution of 2 Set of handsets to all the GSM handset dealers/operators under the poverty alleviation programme to boost their business activities.
Flagging off the distribution at the New GSM market along Bullumkutu ward in the metropolis, the State Deputy Governor, Hon Umar Usman Kadafur urged hundreds of beneficiaries to remain orderly, assuring that the distribution of the handsets would be done in phases through their branch heads and that all of them would benefit from the gesture.
The Deputy Governor inform them that government has cleared another peace of land behind the new GSM Market for allocation to those who were not opportune to benefit from  earlier allocation of the shops.
Kadufur however urged those who were yet to relocate to the new site, to do so as soon as possible, and be law abiding by channelling all their problems appropriately through their leaders.
All the marketers who spoke commended the State Government under the leadership of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for providing them with all the necessary environment and facilities to operate their business successfully.
Recalled that the popular GSM Operational Centre located at the heart of the city near Post Office round about, have been asked to relocate to the permanent site provided by Government, as construction of roads and flyover bridges are to be constructed around the area to allow easy transportation of goods and services.
