The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori has sympathized with families of those who were killed and others still missing in a boko haram ambush on Governor Kashim Shettima’s convoy while on their way to Gamboru Ngala for campaign.
Dalori who was amongst the convoy disclosed this on behalf of governor Shettima who returned on Wednesday evening around 7:15pm.
He regretted with unfortunate incident and prayed Allah to grant eternal rest to the souls of those who lost their lives, and grant freedom to those abducted.
He also thanked those who sacrificed their time and lives to follow the governor to the rally.
Meanwhile, sources said, the incident took place in Logoma village, on which some people were killed, over eight vehicles were snatched from the convoy by the insurgents, and several others including traditional rulers were still missing in the attack.
Logoma village is the same place that the Chief of Army Staff’s Convoy, Luet Gen. Tukur Buratai was attacked by insurgents in the year 2017.
