The state chairman of the APC in Borno, Hon Ali Bukar Dalori has dismissed what he called the reactions of some mischief makers over recent appointments by Governor of the state, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum.
The party chairman was apparently speaking in response to some reactions by a group of interested persons opposed to the appointment of Malam Isa Gusau as Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy and spokesman to the Governor. The state chairman said the Governor has the right to go as far as China in identifying and appointing persons with the commitment to help achieve his goals for the development of Borno state.
The chairman who spoke in Biu during the ongoing tour of the Governor, expressed his optimism that the administration of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum will do wonders in Borno.
“Politically we appreciate and have full confidence and optimism on the administration of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum” he said.
“All I can say to the good people of Borno state is he’ll perform and deliver his electioneering campaign promises, also we solicit for prayers to the Governor for him to deliver and for good health”.
Dalori also called on whoever is seeking political appointment to come through the party machinery.
The chairman accompanied Governor Zulum on official assignments which included the groundbreaking ceremony of a new Local government secretariat the Local government.
