Biodun Olujimi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been sworn in as senator representing Ekiti south senatorial district.

She replaces Senator Adedayo Adeyeye of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who is immediate past Senate spokesperson who was removed by Court of Appeal recently.
The elated Senator Olujimi, who was Minority Leader in the 8th Senate came to the Senate chamber with her husband.
She was congratulated by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, who called for “unity,” and urges her “ to do those things will make our country great”.
