The Lagos Police Command has unvealed the name and face of the killer police officer who gunned down Bolanle Raheem, a Lagos-based lawyer on Chritmas Day, 2022.
Raheem was shot dead at Ajah downtown of Lagos while returning from Christmas Day church service with her family members. She was said to be pregnant with twins.
The command’s PRO, Supol Benjamin Hundeyin, revealed the killer cop’s identity on his verified Twitter page.
The killer cop’s name is Drambi Vandi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP)
Hundeyin said the suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti-Yaba, Lagos, for discreet investigation, promising the investigation into the death of the lawyer will be “swift.”
Hundeyin tweeted: “The investigation report was earlier today forwarded to the Force Headquarters, Abuja for further necessary action.
“He is ASP Dambri Vandi. He is currently at the SCID and investigation will be swift.”
So far, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, had recommended the suspension of Vandi
