The Senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray Bruce, has reacted to Federal Government’s plan to probe the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar over the collapse of Bank PHB.
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, had earlier on Friday said Atiku would be investigated over his alleged role in the collapse of the bank.
Speaking with State House Correspondents at the Presidential Villa on Abuja, Mohammed disclosed that Abubakar would be question when he returns from the United States, US.
Reacting, Bruce who is on the entourage of Atiku to the US said the treat was “pathetic.”
In a tweet, wrote: “Bank PHB has been defunct for a decade, but it is the day after @atiku proved them wrong by coming to America that they suddenly remember that he has a case to answer?
“This is such a disappointment. I thought their fight back would be something smart. But this? This is pathetic!”
