Arsenal has been told to pay at least €15 million (£13m) to sign Axel Disasi from Reims, according to French reports. The Gunners are in talks to sign the 22-year-old centre-back this summer as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his defensive options. According to RMC Sport, Arsenal made an offer in the January transfer window for Disasi but that bid was rejected by Reims as it did not meet their valuation. The French club are reportedly holding out for an initial €15m (£13m) fee but are also demanding add-ons and a percentage of any sell-on fee.
Since Arsenal’s offer in the winter, the report claims that Reims have received bids from three different clubs but all have not met the €15m (£13m) asking price.
