Minister of Interior and former governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola was on Friday turbaned as the Amirul Waziri-Muuminiina of Osun State.

The high ranking Muslim title was conferred on him by the Osun League of Imams and Alfas in Osogbo, the state capital.
For Aregbesola, it was a triumphant return to the state he governed for eight years as a massive crowd received him as he got to the venue if the turbaning in a Toyota Coastal Bus.
Aregbesola in a statement said “I thank the good people of the State of Osun and other well-wishers for welcoming me to Osogbo in grand style as I get Turbaned by the Osun League of Imams and Alfas as the Amirul Waziri-Muuminiina of the State of Osun today.”
