Former Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima has sent a condolence message to the family of the late Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari
In a press statement signed by the former governor today, he attested to his sterling qualities and deep love for humanity. ” As someone who had the privilege of being Governor of Borno State while late Abba Kyari served his first four years as COS, I can bear testimony to his very deep commitment to the stability and progress of Borno.”
“On many occasions, he facilitated and supported interventions for Borno, and he did everything without taking credit or seeking political attraction.
He was more of a Borno man than a politician.”
