
Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has been commended for continuing the legacy projects of his predecessor, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima by opening the Muhammadu Buhari Academy for Boko Haram Orphans in Maiduguri today.
Making the commendation, Professor Hussain Junaid of the Bayero University, Kano said Zulum’s action is worth of recommendation to other Chief Executive Officers of states.
“Many a Governor would rather start new projects than to kickstart activities at those constructed by his Predecessor.We commend Gov.Zulum for selflessly sustaining the signature projects of the KSM Administration of which he was a Pivotal Anchor Person.” Junaid said.
The state of the art edifice which boast of modern education facilities, hostel and recreational facilities is one of the measures designed by the Borno state government towards catering for victims of the fatricidal war especially Orphans who have no place to go.
