Arsenal  captain Aubameyang has pulled out of talks with the club over a contract extension, and is ready to quit the club next summer .Real Madrid who opened discussions with the Gunner’s chief midweek are reportedly offering Luka Jovic to Arsenal in a bid to land Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January transfer window. The gunner’s top scorers withdrawal from renewal talk has alerted Real Madrid , who are hoping to snare the Gabon international  by offering highly-rated striker Jovic in a swap deal.

They signed the 21-year-old in the summer but he has struggled at the Bernabeu since making the switch from Eintracht Frankfurt. And now Real Madrid are determined to sign Aubameyang in the January transfer window.

Aubameyang won the Premier League golden boot last season and has once more scored goals this term, with 12 in 17 so far despite the North Londoners’ miserable start to the campaign.

His contract has 18 months left to run, but his situation has club chiefs facing a dilemma over whether to sell him next summer – or let him enter the final year of his deal and risk leaving on a free if there’s no improvement at the Emirates.Aubameyang, like striker partner Alexandre Lacazette will both be out of contract in the summer of 2020.And that may lead Arsenal to entertain offers for their star forwards, to avoid a repeat of the situation which saw Aaron Ramsey to leave for Juventus on a free transfer after his contract was allowed to expire.Aubameyang, who has only the French League Cup and the German Cup to show for his career as major club honours, is aware that time is running out in that regard, as he turns 31 next June.

Transfer expert Duncan Castles has revealed all on the mega swap deal Real Madrid have planned.“The interesting bit of information I have on this is that Real Madrid I believe are trying to float Luka Jovic into the deal.“Their £60m signing from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer who I think has scored just one goal in 11 appearances since arriving there.“That would be a proposal that would allow Jovic an opportunity at a different club, a restart to his career, it would bring Arsenal’s wage bill down and solve the problem that Arsenal might have of a disgruntled forward and a player that has been very prominent in their team.“But if you have that player in a difficult contractual situation the proposal that Madrid are putting to them then let’s solve two problems here for both of us and readjust our squads.
