100 days: Chairman Jos – North Hails Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong On The Appointment of Prof. Atu and Commend the Founding Fathers of Nigeria at Independence.
The Hon. Chairman Jos – North Local Government Area of Plateau State Hon. Dr. Philip Izang Nyam has hailed and commended the visionary and dynamic leadership of his Excellency Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong the Executive Governor of Plateau State as he marks 100 days in office in his second tenure.
I have no doubt in my mind that Friday that will be good, is known from Thursday, marking 100 days by the rescue administration of his Excellency Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong radiate round the state, as his positive leadership is a shining example for all and sundry to emulate as well as succeeding generations have a lot to learn from his sophistication and dexterity as he brings to bear people’s oriented programmes and policies in our dear state in his quest of taking us to the next and desire level.
Fundamentally, the loudable peace initiatives of his Excellency Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong, as well as given equal opportunity to all ethnic nationalities as reflected in his appointment to key positions, this is geared towards a just an egalitarian society, which is a clear indication that out able and dynamic leader Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong, is a righteous and a just leader, in line with the saying of our Lord Jesus Christ that “when the righteous man is on the throne, the people rejoice” as encapsulated in the book of beatitude.
Another bold step taken by the unique leadership of his Excellency Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong is the recent appointment of a colossus cum intellectual giant Prof. Atu as the secretary to the Plateau state government, to oil the machinery of governance with his verse experience, exposure in the task or taking Plateau state to the next level.
Be it as it may, as Nigerian celebrate another independence day, my sincere goodwill message goes to our founding fathers who have fought with tireless and relentless vigour for a united and indivisible Nigeria. Their supreme sacrifices no doubt is symbolic in our quest towards nationhood. It is my prayer that our great Nigerian people will sustain the vision for a unified Nigeria, where our diversity will continue to be our strength for the promotion of national unity and integration.
In the final analysis, I pray our great leader, Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong, achieve greater successes, also moving from strength to strength as he laid the foundation for a greater Plateau where Peace, Unity, Stability, and Tranquility remain our hallmark as one people belonging to our nation.
