20 participants have been selected for the third run of the FRLP fellowship. The FRLP is an initiative of the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism supported by Free Press Unlimited with the aim of building female journalists’ capacities to emerge at the highest leadership roles in their media houses by empowering them with the skills, finesse and tools needed to take this bold step. A call for application between 24 May and 4 June produced 207 applications from 9 countries including Nigeria.

The Fellowship will entail a four-day training, three-month mentorship, a two-day share-fair as well as story and leadership projects. The engagement for 2019 begins with a training scheduled to hold from Monday 29th July to Thursday 1st August 2019 in Lagos.
