The Kwara Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has intensified efforts to enhance inter-agency cooperation, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Sanni Mohamned has said.
According to him, the Acting Customs Area Controller (CAC), Deputy Comptroller of Customs Najeem Akanmu Ogundeyi, embarked on a series of working visits to sister security agencies and key stakeholders across Kwara state to achieve collaborated efforts aimed towards achieving joint successes.
He added that DC Ogundeyi, who assumed office on December 16, 2025, described the outreach as a central pillar of his management strategy to succeed, pointing out that the visits aligned with one of the key policy thrusts of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi.
According to him, fostering collaborations among security agencies has become increasingly necessary in view of the evolving security challenges in Kwara State.
