The Office of the Commissioner of Police, General Investigation, Lagos, has declared SOMEFUN OLADAPO OLAYIWOLA wanted for alleged involvement in a case of same sex, contrary to the Nigerian Criminal Code Section 214, 516 and 517.
The Police declaration dated 20/10/2025 said the offence was against the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Earlier, the Idimu Divisional Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force, Egbeda Road, Lagos Nigeria had asked SOMEFUN to report for questioning on 17/10/ 2025 on allegation of same sex contrary to Nigerian Criminal Code section 214, also known as Same Sex Prohibition Act 2014.
The police spokesman said SOMEFUN was caught in the act with one Akinlabi Olamilekan Adewunmi. While the youths in community threatened to deal with him and his partner as they believe that homosexual is against their customs, tradition and culture, they see it as a taboo and unholy act. But due to quick intervention of the police. SOMEFUN partner was arrested and prosecuted and SOMEFUN escaped and he is still at large.
But he was later declared wanted by the Office of the commissioner of police general investigation department
The Police said the suspect resides somewhere in Idimu, Lagos State where he was last seen.
The police spokesman emphasised and described SOMEFUN as been dark in complexion, about 44 years old and with a height of 5’6″.
He also said that anybody with useful information that can lead to his arrest should please inform the nearest Police Station for prompt apprehension, arrest and prosecution.
