When you see Edem Ibiang, your mind goes straight to ask if you are about to encounter Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Onitsha, Anambra State.

The resemblance is striking. On countless occasions, Ibiang who is Registrar at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, has had to explain to inquirers that he is not related to and has not even met the Liquid Metal, as Odumeje in often referred to.

The Onitsha-based preacher claims he has many unused powers including but not limited to Abido Shaker, Gandu Gandusa, Rebado, Ramande, Santo Sanitoria and Indaboski Bahose.

Surprisingly, Odumeje boasts he has not touched one tenth of the spiritual endowment. According to him, he currently uses Indaboski Bahose and that once he touched Abido Shaker, the American Dollar began to fall against Nigeria’s Naira.

Ibiang is happy at being the lookalike of a powerful preacher like Odumeje.

His words: “Each time people accost me and say I look like Odumeje, I feel excited.

“I even went online to check the resemblance. It was striking.

“Uncountable times in Ibadan during a seminar in 2023, people waited patiently to ask me if I was Odumeje. Some even called me Odumeje.

“Since that time, I have been feeling like meeting my lookalike.”

He believes Odumeje is a man of God. “As a Christian, I know that Odumeje has the anointing; he is being led by the holy spirit,” he told thestateonlinengr.com.

And he added: “Since I attend a deliverance ministry, I know God is really using him and he has not used one tenth of his God given power.

“I believe God gave him the power to deliver the captives and set them free from bondage.

“I pray God continues to empower him more to do greater exploits. God will uphold and bless his ministry.

“I have the plan to visit him and I know God will make it possible to locate him one day.”
