President Muhammadu Buhari today, Friday, 5th June, 2020 observed Jummat prayer at the Aso Rock Mosque as the nation gradually eases the lockdown on congregational prayers imposed in March, in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Jummat prayer at the seat of power mosque was observed under social distance in compliance with the protocols put in place by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 headed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha.
The SGF had on Monday, during the daily briefing by the PTF announced that president Buhari had approved the easing of restrictions placed on worship centres, among other measures.
