The Nigeria Immigration Service, on the orders of Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has deported the following seven (7) Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) nationals from Nigeria for life.

A statement signed by the Service’ Public Relations Officer, Sunday James explains that they were deported to their country of origin on 15th October, 2019 through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on the orders of the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
The statement adds that the Minister acted on the powers conferred on him by the Immigration Act 2015.
No reasons were given for the deportation.
