The North East Zonal Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Alhaji Ahmed Saidu is dead.
He died in the early hours of Tuesday at one of the private Clinics while on admission in Maiduguri, Bornonstate capital after a brief illness.
The deceased was until his death is expected to retire from active service in October 2029, after putting up the mandatory retirement age of 60 years as civil servant.
The remains of the deceased is billed to be buried today in Maiduguri according to Islamic rites.
According to the NEMA Information Officers Abdulkadir Ibrahim said “Inna lillahi wa inna ilahi rajiun. With a heavy heart and total submission to the will of the Almighty, we regret to announce the passing away of Zonal Coordinator NEMA North East Alh Ahmed Saidu Minin today in Maiduguri after a brief illness.”
