In the last Quarter of 2019, residents of Abuja woke up to the news on the ban of Commercial Motor Cycles/ Tricycles within the city of Abuja. This development made it difficult for some workers to assess their offices while some had to walk long distances to get to their workplaces.

As a result the nefarious activities of ‘one-chance’ transporters and costlier transportation as a result of okada/keke NAPEP ban, the National Association of NYSC President’s Honours Awardees (NAPNHA) met with the Provost of Brekete Family Taxi, Mr. Abdulrasak Suleiman, a.k.a. Akramakalahu on 7th March, 2020 in order to complement the efforts of this experienced and reputable Taxi Managing and philanthropic Institution in alleviating the sufferings of residents of Abuja .

Two cars were released by NAPNHA as a Pilot Scheme (first phase town-service transport initiative) of the Association and kept under the care of Brekete Family Taxi to mitigate transport challenges in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Among the personalities at the Abuja Ease of Transport Meeting were the NAPNHA President (Engr. Garba Aliyu); NAPNHA Project Director/ Chairman-HAPNHA Transport Committee (Mr. Saheed Adekunle Muraina);Mr. Emmanuel Peter (NPI) and Brekete Family Taxi Provost,Mr. Abdulrasak Suleiman, a.k.a. Akramakalahu.

NAPNHA Director of Projects ,Mr. Saheed A.M. speaking on the occasion said” government cannot provide all our needs, well-meaning Organizations such as NAPNHA have to join hands with other well-known credible and benevolent Organizations such as  Brekete Family in building a Nation of our dream.”
