Wife clears COZA Pastor of rape allegation Posted by: Mikail Mumuni July 1, 2019 Leave a comment Wife of the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly in Guzape, Abuja, Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo, Pastor Omodele Fatoyinbo, has said her husband is not a rapist. Mrs. Fatoyinbo spoke at the Sunday service said, “My husband is not a rapist. Even if he was not a believer, he would not be a rapist.” Before she could complete her speech, however, her husband quickly grabbed the microphone and said, “the elders are handling the matter” while protesters demonstrated outside the church. Although church service at COZA usually ends at 12 pm, the service of Sunday, June 30 came to an end much earlier and no sermon was delivered. Mrs. Busola Dakolo, the wife of popular musician, Timi Dakolo, had on Friday accused Fatoyinbo of raping her 20 years ago. The allegation generated intense comments on the social media and beyond with groups calling for the arrest of Fatoyinbo while some of his supporters stoutly defended him, saying an accused person was innocent until proven guilty. The pastor has, however, denied all the allegations levelled against him. COZA 2019-07-01 Mikail Mumuni Share !
