The Companion: Free Health Screening At National Discourse On Agriculture As Muslim Group Harps On Healthy Living

Nigerians have been urged not to compromise their health and well being despite challenging economic situation.

The Amir of The Companion, Alhaji Wale Sonaike, gave the advice while updating stakeholders on the line up of activities for the forthcoming National Discourse of his group.

He said the best source of health and well being is food, which explains why the theme of this year’s discourse where the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo will be the keynote speaker is centred on food security.

But in addition to food self sufficiency are several other indices of quality life which include health.

Healthy lifestyle he emphasized is very important to living wholesomely rich and fulfilled.

This he said is responsible for opening personal health review window for participants at the National Discourse

The Amir promised that early birds at the discourse holding at Ade Ajayi Main Auditorium University of Lagos will have the opportunity to benefit from free medical screening, free eye test and glasses from 8.00 when the auditorium will be opened till 10 am when the programme formally commences.

He assured that the Companion, an association of Muslims in Business and The Professions has arrayed all its members in medical and allied fields to attend to people’s medical concern during the two hour window that preludes the commencement of the discourse.

He commended the local organising committee of the discourse for their efforts so far to ensure that participants at the discourse which is free for everyone benefit totally.
