NLNG assures empowerment graduates of continued support Posted by: Mikail Mumuni November 8, 2019 Leave a comment Manager of Community Relations and Sustainable Development, Sir Godson Dienye has assured the 89 graduates of the company’s Youths Empowerment Scheme (YES) for year 2019 that NLNG will continue to support them to succeed in their vocations. He was speaking during the graduation ceremony of the programme at the Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt on Tuesday. 24 people graduated in Catering and Hotels Management, 17 each in Automotive and Advanced Welding, 16 in Farm Management and 15 in Video Production and Photography. Sir Godson said aside from set up and certification they have received, the various training centres will hand hold and continue to mentor them for the next 3 months to ensure they deepen their knowledge and avoid early pitfalls in their businesses. He recalled that the 3 to 6 months trainings were quite intensive but the graduates should sure take consolation from high quality of certification they got as well as quality of their set up. He however reminded them that it was a privilege to be part of the programme as they were lucky to be selected out of the several hundreds of youths that came to exam to scramble for a space in the programme. Certificates were presented to the graduates in their various disciplines by some of the distinguished guests including the Manager, Communication and Public Affairs, Dr Sophia Horsfall, Manager, Government Relations, Andy Odeh, Head of Lands, Ifeanyi Umeh among others. The guests led by GM, External Relations, Eyono Fatayi -Williams also went round exhibition stands of the five training centres. NLNG 2019-11-08 Mikail Mumuni Share !
