Hauwa, wife of late Gov. Suntai of Taraba State set to remarry Posted by: Demola Abimboye June 9, 2019 Leave a comment The wedding bell is ringing again for Hauwa, wife of former Taraba state governor, late Danbaba Suntai. The woman who lost her husband five years ago is settling down to a second marriage after the death of her husband who succumbed to injuries he had years after a plane he was flying crashed. Late Suntai died on June 28, 2017, at the age of 55, five years after he sustained injuries in a plane crash on October 25, 2012. The plane, a Cessna 208, 5N-BMJ, crashed at about 7.45pm. He was piloting the plane, which crashed near the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) depot in Yola, Adamawa state capital. He was taken to Yola Specialist Hospital for treatment but was later moved to the better-equipped Federal Medical Centre in Yola. Danbaba was later flown in air an ambulance to Germany from Abuja. Hauwa, his wife, was delivered of a set of twins in a German hospital while tendering to her ailing husband. Suntai eventually died in a United States of America hospital on June 28, 2017.
