Borno Governor appoints 4 advisers, deputy Chief of Staff Posted by: Mikail Mumuni August 2, 2019 Leave a comment In continued steps to put in place components of his office, Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has approved the appointment of four special advisers and Deputy Chief of staff who is head the deputy governor’s office. In a statement issued Friday in Maiduguri, the Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy, Malam Isa Gusau, announced the appointments of Hon. Zannah Abubakar Jabu, Mohammad Auwal Hamzah, Engr. Hon. Lawan Abba Wakilbe and Alhaji Zarma Mustapha Bamus as Special Advisers with Alh. Haruna Hassan Tela as deputy chief of staff. He noted that a date will soon be communicated for swearing-in of the appointees, all of whom were chosen after careful evaluation of their individual track records and expertise. Governor Zulum, he added, is confident that the appointees will in the course of work, prove themselves through competence, selfless commitment, patriotism and the fear of God.
