Auto Crashes Involving Kwara Institution Buses Claim Lives

A ghastly auto crash involving a 15-seater bus belonging to the Kwara State University (KWASU) has claimed the lives of a lecturer and a student.
The sad incident which reportedly happened between Minna and Lambata in Niger State brought to two of such within two weeks.
A similar 15-seater bus conveying prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members who were Students of Kwara State Polytechnic also had a road accident where two of the students died.
The crash happened in Mokwa also in Niger State. The ‎two accidents recorded who were being treated in the hospitals for various degrees of injuries.
The State Governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq while commiserating with the families of the deceased commiserated with the families ‎said he felt devastated about the accidents.
He had said; “We are devastated by this sad development involving one female lecturer and an Msc student who left a heart-wrenching message that the government has taken note of.
“As believers, we submit to the will of God on this development. We condole with the families of the deceased and the entire university community. We urge them to stay strong in this very trying moment,”
“We also specially commend all the first responders who helped to take them to the hospitals and supported them including Prof. Musa Aibinu, head of Department of Mechatronical Engineering at the Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, who promptly rushed the injured to the hospital.’’
